Smokareală was born out of a passion for genuine BBQ—slow-cooked for hours in our wood-fired smoker. In 2019, we built our first smoker while on a quest for the perfect recipe that delivers tender, juicy, and flavorful meat. By experimenting with different cuts and cooking techniques, we eventually achieved the authentic taste we proudly serve today.

We started our journey in 2020 with a trailer in Corbeanca, and before long, we expanded our presence in Bucharest. Today, at Smokareală, it’s the synergy of fire, wood, and time that gives our dishes their unmistakable flavor.

Our meat is prepared using slow-cooking with indirect heat, allowing it to absorb the natural essence of wood without direct flame exposure. We never rely on artificial additives—just salt, pepper, and a dash of paprika for color. True flavor is the result of fire, patience, and culinary mastery—the cornerstone of authentic BBQ.
